AngleTwitch Morris are a mixed Morris side based in North Devon in the UK. We base our dances loosely on those of the Border style but are willing to have a try at Cotswold or any other style that takes our fancy. As you can see our 'rags' are brightly multi-coloured leading to one member of the public calling us..the rainbow Morris side. We intend to remain traditional in most respects with our tatter jackets, sticks and bells and to disguise our faces. We like to attend both local and more distant events and have danced at Cheltenham Folk Festival, Teignmouth Folk Festival, Upton upon Severn Festival and Swanage Folk Festival - enjoying all and making new friends in the process. Nearer home we were at All Things Morris in Ilfracombe and RHS Rosemoor last summer and danced outside various pubs around North Devon with other local sides.
We are always glad to welcome new dancers at any time, just e-mail us or make contact through our Facebook page. If you are a musician we would also like to hear from you, especially if you can drum.
AngleTwitch is an old Devon word meaning 'fast moving creature' which we like to think we are. So far our collective feet don't seem to have touched the ground.
